The AVIM connector, born as a rugged version of the DIN LSA connector has been developed by Diamond at the end of the 80's.
After having been used in various avionics and space mission, the AVIM will be qualified by Diamond under an ESA contract for space application. Diamond will release the standard qualified version, once the qualification will be completed.
Special execution with geometry, material or process variation can be executed, Diamond produce all component in house, from the ceramic to the plastic injection.
