To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Technology Product Manager.
Your main tasks
- Product management for machines and equipment
- Training at our premises or directly at the customer's site: Fusion Technology, FTTH, Airliner Training, Connector Assembly, Connector Inspection, etc.
- Technical support for machines and equipment
- Advice and customized offers for customers interested in machines and equipment
- Contact person for customers visiting Diamond for machine and equipment training
- Repair handling: initial assessment, quotes and instructions for repairing customers' machines and tools
- Support and advise the sales team for machinery and equipment
- Responsible for customer documentation regarding machines and equipment: spare parts lists, sales structure (BOM), customer database, user manuals, production descriptions, technical communications to customers, etc.
- Liaise with Quality Department for machine testing & customer complaints
- Internal training on fiber optics for new employees
Your profile
To perform this role with professionalism, you should have
- Basic technical education (telecommunications, electronics or micromechanics), any higher education or equivalent experience
- Additional education or experience in product and/or project management
- Good oral and written English (negotiation level) is essential, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Responsible and independent personality
- Willingness to travel and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fiber optics is an advantage
- Good computer skills, MS Office, possibly SAP
